Close and re-open GM Tech2 GlobalTIS and the software is activated. I got NAO 33.004 and it appeared to not work. The tech 2 passed diags, but never booted. So I went back to 33.002. Then it worked fine. Making the cards sure is a pain in the butt. The dell d630 I used kept failing.
Ive been getting a lot of emails on how to get global tis running. You want to install it as a stand alone. Leave all the numbers the way they are during the install. Fill out dealer info completely. It can be all made up. And register as a fax. That will generate a.pdf that you can use with the keygen to get it activated.
Then I used an old thinkpad which worked fine. That was an interesting use of 4 hours yesterday. The place I got the software from says it works fine so I am not sure what to think. I did order a another card and then I can test with out breaking my tech2.
I can try to download the bin again and see what happens. I also have a Dell D630 and I can confirm that it will not talk to these old linear PCMCIA cards. Effra light font free.

Awesome, thanks. Did you get to patch it fully before the shutdown last month? Thanks again. Went to GM with radio problem, I was told to replace Amp1, bought a new one and replaced it and still no go, looks like ICM unit failed, had a spare one and replaced it, radio played for a couple of days and then boom, nothing except Alarm, ECU reprogram required, went again to GM they tried hard but didn't have a code to marry my ICM to the system, so today I can see that radio is trying to play for a second or two then nothing, I am living in Toronto, Canada area and can't find any one to help me, any ideas?
