Difference between Windows 7 x86 and x64, and which I should use. (as long as you select x64 for drivers). The issue is 32 bit windows vs 64 bit windows. I had the same Conextant BT878 chip in a Hauppauge PVR150 card and upgraded. But I never tried to install the drivers in compatibility mode. You might want to give it a try. You can download the driver to your desktop extract if needed and stop. Then find the setup.exe file.click on it> properties>compatibility,check the box run in compatibility mode>drop down menu select Xp. Go to device manager select device>update driver>search for myself>have disk>then enter the location of the file and install. You can also check out this link.

Somehow I don't think Leadtek will provide 64-bit support for TV2000 XP (Deluxe / FM / RM) from the look of that table in the link. This link: explains that its because Conexant has no BT878 x64 driver and it has links to some unofficial 64-bit driver for BT878. But that thread is dated 2007. Theres a unofficial probably 32-bit BT878 driver here: But its probably outdated with last development date of 2004.
