Hi everyone, I have a HIVION HV 9090X II receiver with a USB port and two card slots. I want to manually enter BISS keys or load them through the USB interface. I have read many post that speak on a hidden menu, but I cannot access it via the instructions given. However, I have been able to transfer the channel info and software from the receiver onto my USB thumb drive, but the channel info is not ASCII format so I can not edit it. Any help would be appreciated. Below is my menu.
My menu structure is as follows. Menu - 1) Installation -----------------> '000' ---> Service organization STB Setting STB Status CAS 2) Antenna Setting Auto Sat Search Manual TP Search Blind Scan Transfer Data --------------> Reset factory Settings USALS Setup 3) Transfer Main S/W Transfer Channel Data USB Transfer --------------> 4) Channels Main S/W HIVION HV 9090X II USB Model: 07E0A126 H/W Ver: 2.16.00 S/W Ver: 1.09.6A Also, when I use the USB feature to download the channel data '_CH_DATA.SGN' it is encrypted. Does this file contain the BISS keys? I read in another post that a file named '_K_DATA.SGN' contains the BISS Keys. It advised renaming a key file to '_K_DATA.SGN' and loading it via the USB feature, but the USB load did not recognize that it was on my thumb drive.
Hi All I have HIVION 9090x and need to update the software, I tried every thing but had no luck, I maybe doing some thing wrong, can some one help me please I downloaded EMUpgrade V2.24 and searched for the software in the net, my Box is Model ID A126 H/W Version 1.00 S/W Version 11.20, so the closest I got is S0fa126_100_1156_x.sgn file I connected my RS 232 cable to my PC and Sat box, started EMUpgrade seclected COM1 and pressed Browse and selected S0fa126_100_1156_x.sgn and pressed start, turned OFF then ON my Sat Box, but no new update. Any help is appreciated.
